Limiting beliefs are the negative thoughts and stories we tell ourselves about who we are, what we are capable of and what we deserve.
Examples of limiting beliefs include feeling that you do not deserve love or success, believing that you are a bad person, feeling that everything is your fault, or thinking that you are not capable or good enough.
These beliefs may originate from criticism, comparisons, childhood experiences and other negative experiences from the past. They are often internalised unconsciously and can affect many aspects of our lives, preventing us from reaching our full potential.
Becoming aware of our limiting beliefs and understanding how they affect our lives is therefore the first step towards developing a healthier way of thinking and behaving, which is essential for personal growth and for achieving our life goals.
