Psychotherapy support for anxiety, stress management and emotional stability

When we talk about anxiety and emotional balance, we refer to how anxiety shapes emotions, thoughts and responses to stress, and how, little by little, we can come to understand it better, develop emotional regulation strategies and build a healthier relationship with it.

Anxiety is a natural response to a variety of situations, which can include anything from periods of change and uncertainty, to the feeling of a lack of control, to experiencing traumatic events, deep-seated beliefs or worries that build up over time, among many others.

It can manifest in a variety of ways, from physical symptoms such as a racing heart, excessive sweating and difficulty concentrating, to deeply affecting our minds, creating a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions.

Recognising anxiety is the first step in dealing with it more consciously and compassionately. Instead of fighting it, by learning to relate to anxiety, we can begin to understand what it is trying to tell us. Perhaps we need to set boundaries, rest, process difficult experiences, learn new tools, or soothe it through self-care.

Anxiety does not define who we are. It is more common than we think and, when approached with patience and support, it can be managed in a balanced way without taking over our lives 💙
