Therapy is a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, gain a deeper understanding of the challenges you are facing, and develop healthier ways of coping with what you are going through. Together, we can work on different areas of your life, including:

My aim is to support you in understanding your feelings and patterns more clearly, making sense of your experiences, and feeling more confident and secure within yourself and in your relationships.

Each person is unique, and the pace of the therapeutic process is guided by you. Therapy is a journey of discovery and understanding, and I will be alongside you to support and guide you, with acceptance and respect for your individual path.

How Therapy Works with Me

Beginning therapy can feel challenging, and it is completely natural to experience some hesitation before starting. My aim is for you to feel safe, supported, and genuinely welcomed from our very first contact.

First step: free initial conversation

I usually begin with a brief, no-obligation call of 10–15 minutes to understand what you would like to explore in therapy and how I may support you. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions and to sense whether therapy feels right for you.

Session format

Sessions can take place in person, in Setúbal, or online via video call, with the same level of confidentiality, care and presence. Each session lasts 50 minutes and takes place in a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications and Experience

I am a qualified art psychotherapist, registered with the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I completed my Master’s degree in Art Psychotherapy in 2013 at the University of Roehampton, London, and have over 13 years of clinical experience across a range of professional settings, including the NHS, community services, non-profit organisations and private art psychotherapy practice.

My work is guided by ethics, respect and careful attention to each person’s individuality, and my practice combines professional knowledge and experience with empathy and presence.
